Madi’s practice is focused around creating shapes and texture through the medium of painting. She is currently exploring ‘terra’ through the perspective of satellites from the European Space Agency and how the earth's surface forms geometric shapes when viewed from this vast distance.

Through intensive research of satellite images taken from the European Space Agency, Madi has been focusing her concepts on how these satellites are used to track global warming, especially the images from the ‘Aeolus’ satellite which was launched in 2018.

From these images she has been experimenting with different painting techniques, which includes the fluidity of paint and exploring its application in order to produce an accurate imitation of the changeability of our constantly fluctuating atmosphere, with some exciting results.
