Omema is a multidisciplinary artist who enjoys experimenting with different materials, usually creating paintings and drawings but also working with sculptural techniques, and digital work. Her style of work is typically diverse, ranging from abstraction to realism. She explores social and technological themes and often creates artworks that integrate both subject matters.
For the Beyond and Between exhibition, Omema has dissected the theories of time and space, focusing her conceptual research on the multiverse and parallel dimensions, as well as exploring creation myths and ideas of escapism. She aims to use her personal research along with knowledge gained from ESA to venture deep into the theoretical and literal aspects of space and time travel, and how they affect the sociality and behavioural tendencies of human beings.
